Just curious: two 1000-point lists per side, no other restrictions? Fun.

Sigh.

Just a note that FHE sanctions all Warrior national championships and that for
2005 the US Nationals is the NASAMW Invitational.

At the moment, I cannot make anyone not use that name. If I could I would, and
when we can, we will.

I would consider it a major courtesy to us if you didn't...

Jon

You will have to arrange that yourself or with Greg. The cheerleaders will
show after the game.

Jon,

Lighten up, and re-read the announcement:
"Third Annual Republic of Texas
National Championship Tournament"

Out here we call ours the California State Championship, but them Texas boys
never did cotton to being part of the Union. If they want to have a Republic of
Texas champion, fine by me. Only wish I could be there.

Mark's right, of course - but so's Jon (hey, it happpens Wink. I don't
doubt that the nose-tweaking was entirely intentional.

Not that it'll get me to Texas, at least not outside of Austin!

Jon,

Correction; the NICT is the national championship of invited NASAMW
members. Kind of like the NBA calling their champions - world champions
Smile I agree with Mark, lighten up please. LOL Besides, this is the 3rd
annual championship for the nation of Texas; thems fightin' words! :O)

Ah, but Ewan, it IS in Austin... This is a convention that has been
put on in Austin for at least 5 years now.

Austin, Texas home of 6th street, Texas City Blues, gorgeous co-eds,
dred-locked running backs and free beer! (okay, lying about this one
but if you were a good looking wench you could get your beer for free;
ask Lyle Lovett! LMAO)

As someone that has been playing ancients in Texas since TOG 6th
Edition ... I had hoped to never see the day when a tournament
without a Sunday man-on-man playoff, was spun as as the "Championship
of Texas."

One day tournaments are great ... Fort Worth Wars was a blast ... but
the limitations in scoring for one day events, does not make them a
proper venue for a State Championship tournament.
