Hey Jon, I know you wanted this thread closed, but in typical fashion I am (a)
ignoring you, and (b) unable to resist one last post. (Aren't you glad I'm
back?)
There's only one clear choice for the top university in Warrior expertise:
University of Rochester. I'll try and remember as many of the active Warrior
playes who are U of R grads as I can; here's the list off the top of my head
(my apologies to those I'm forgetting):
-Mark Stone
-Dave Stier
-Frank Gilson
-Christian Cameron
-Jevon Garrett
-Sean Scott
-Bill Chamis
-Chris Schulitz
I'll add the worthy names of Terry Gore and Greg Hauser to that list, past and
present fixtures to the Rochester gaming scene. I challenge any university to
match that list in quantity or quality.
Dave, Greg and Jevon are still roughly in the Rochester area; Chris and Bill
have drifted to the East Coast; Frank and I to the West Coast. A lot of the
energy has followed Christian to Toronto, and we can thank him for much of the
new blood coming into the hobby. Somehow, we all still think of ourselves as a
single group.

Jon's cranky due to attending a Federal Institution rather than
a "college". As an ex-resident of Rush Henrietta, and night school at
UofR, but also a "Federal Institution" grad I can understand.

Jon's cranky because his box is filling both with off topic mails about college
musings and with mails pleading that I make it stop.
Please help me help you.

Not that USMA is a university, althought the stories I hear these
days may lead you to another conclusion, but I suspect that the list
of WRG/ Warrior grads is at least equally as long and since you are
looking to the past I will include Maj. (Richard) Rowe who first
introduced me to the game.
