				| Fair enough suggestion on no waver for loose foot. Sounds like good
solution to me. And puts the burden on trouble makers like me to carry
 the argument.

 Speaking of which:...

 Two questions.

 1) In the online draft the following appears:

 >? (CHARGED BY MOUNTED). If LHI, LMI or LI (loose or open order >foot)
responding to charge by mounted unless some difficult terrain must >be
 crossed to reach them.

Is it nit picking or clarifying to add "or entered" after crossed?

 2) On recall moves.

Under 7.6 (or at least 7) my stalwart Spartans were hit by a wild
impetuous band of barbarians (Pre-Feudal Scots maybe?) The foot recoiled

and I opted not to follow up with my hoplites.

As a consequence, he had to rally back -- now tired.

Would the same thing happen under Warrior? I'm not clear on the rally
and recall moves from the draft rules.

Not really. We'll either say that or better define 'crossed.'

They have to rally (5.41). They currently do not make a recall move (6.36),
but that one is on our issue list.

Rallying is the act of reordering troops. Recall is the act of getting back
out of an exposed position. WRG mixed the two together with the
'rally-back'. We separated the two actions as rally-back is on the list of
'most confusing' concepts from our rookie pool. While I still sometimes
catch myself about to say rally-back, our rookies are having a much easier
time grasping what is going on by not having some rallying units make a move
to the rear as part of rallying, but not all. One of the primary goals of
Warrior is to make an admittedly intricate rules as clear as possible to the
beginner. Us old dogs will just have to adapt!

				| I'm glad the recall after opponents don't follow up is on your list of issues.

It strikes me that the idea of falling back, reorganizing and preparing to
charge in again is a logical response to being repulsed in this way.

Isn't this what English knights bouncing off of Scots schiltrons did?

Perhaps it is something best left to choice. I realize that just because I found
it a useful tactic in a game doesn't make it a good thing to include in the
 Warrior version of the rules.
