It appears that if you take your generals as EHK then you cannot have the generals in combined units with the HC (I'm betting this also applies to Comnenan Byzantine, though I haven't checked). That seems contrary to the way contemporary lists are handled, where knights and sergeants can combine, and seems particularly contrary to the way Byzantine armies were organized, since "knight" is a functional classification here for the most heavily armored cavalry rather than a social or organizational classification separating out one troop type from another.
Is this an oversight that could be corrected, or is this deliberate based on some aspect of Byzantine history of which I am unaware (but happy to be enlightened about)?
