Hi,
As I understand it and as the list comments indicate, Jannissaries were not used for the entire period that this list covers. However, the minimum for the list is 8 elements. Is this a mistake or intentionally listed to relect the majority of the battles?

Argh, it's a typo. Should be 1362. Of course now somebody will say "well, why aren't they in the Early Ott list?" That's cuz the early units were pretty unformed and fledgling, plus, they don't fit into how the overal Early Ott list should look. Moreover, they only begin to take on the character in which we portray them in the Late Ott list until after the 1380s, more or less.
