Warrior Ancient and Medieval Rules

Played two games with Dahomey against Dick Hurchanik. He brought ancient germnanic tribes game 1 and gauls game 2.
I ran a list that had the Cin C on foot single element and an ally general
3 Units of Mino (LTS, HG, Sh Reg A/B) 3 units of Mercenaries (LMI LTS, D, Sh) 2 units of Irr A (9 and 6 elements I believe) Ally general in HCL,B, Sh with 2 HC L,B, Sh units land some big blocks of li. In one game I ran Portuguese and the following Irr D MI, LTs, sh
Game 1 Mino shpot up LMI (Irr B ) until the shook and then routed them. Took two turns - then just worked down the line - 5-0 dahomey
Game 2 LTS charged 3 Irr A lmi units - 6 elements - rolled up killed 3 units before it ran out of opponents . Center - shot the gauls tired - charged in Mercenaries to pin and then routed the gauls with Cavalty/Irr A - 5-1 Dahomey.
Fun list - will really struggle against Pike, maybe elephant - but HG/B with LT sbacked by LTS, D units all high morale are a tough army. Three units of HC add a lot of flexibility, lack of LC is a weakness
Now just to find good Mino figures (Amazons with muskets)

How did the Dahomey do against the Germanic tribes. I didn't get a good picture of what happened there.

I shot up the two big blocks of lmi - causing waver tests - one failed and AI routed it with my irr A's , then smashed the oyther which was now uneasy, then just worked my way down the line with my limi shooters destroying MI blocks with combined HG and dart shooting - 4 turn total rout - I claimed a 5-0 - it was a 5-1 I lost my LI to hir lmi in holding on the left.
Dick likes big blocks of hc - I also killed thoise with lancers and mino
basically the only thing in his army that can catch my lmi is either HC - jls,sh - which I countered with lancers and the lmi - which I destroyed - once I creat a hole in hois line my regulars just chew him up- I am all reg A and B - so pick my spots
horrible match for Dick - I think he will run Ottomans or Japanese next time - we will see how that goes

I thought the warrior blocks of Germans would do a little better.
Why the big blocks of HC.?
Because they are Jls.

Ed - I don't get the big blocks of HC - but Dick seems to like them - my guess is he is just rusty
