We did a massive 2500 point 5 commands per side refiight of Hydaspes last weekend in Portland, Oregon that was great fun. All newbies but me. It was a tie as Porus (mounted on an elephant of course) routed Alexander in personal combat (I did tell the Greek player to keep his cavalry away from the elephants but nobody ever listens to me). _________________ Life is too short to drink bad beer. |

Don't worry. Nobody listens to me either, but they have good reason with me.
I am...........
However, it sounds like a great game and battle. My son and I replayed that battle years ago in the museum near us. Bob Hess orchestrated it. However, Alex won that one.
If possible, could you include lists and AAR.

Yes Please, an AAR would be great.
I see that this battle was the one chosen for the latest Society of Ancients Battle Day also.

There's active Warrior play in Portland?? That's only 2 1/2 hours away for me, which puts you about 15 hours closer than my next closest opponent.
I'd love to get in some practice before Historicon this summer. Perhaps we can arrange a get together? |
