Thanks Frank - from the clarifications am I right in thinking foot armed with no other hand to hand weapon continue to get the JLS+ even after the first bound of combat?

So essentially the same way 7th ed. worked?

Well, in the case of having HTW AND JLS you get the JLS+ at contact (1st round of hand to hand), and then not later (even though the HTW 'reverts' to other hth weapons)...unless pursuing or fighting elephants.

In the case of 2HCW, however, you continue to get the JLS+ (something we changed, based on how we want certain foot to perform) across later hth bounds.
