But we'll do everything to make it work like every year.

Perhaps the most complicated list in this doubles theme event is Komnenan Byzantine.

Folks have a tendency to mis-buy it.

Please be careful if you are running it.

Note in particular all the minimums, permitted upgrades as they vary by time period, etc.

In particular, Half of the loose order Kavallarioi must remain MC. They can be Irr D or Irr C, or in Middle or Late they can be Reg C (but cannot be Reg B).

There is an error we haven't corrected yet in the Late Period Kav upgrade line (probably more than one in that section, sadly).

There's at least one major discrepancy I found between different versions of the list both apparently extant (in the list I used for weighting thoughts, half of the kontaratoi had to be irregular; that turns out to perhaps not be the case, which is a reasonably large deal).

Having had the possibility of coming arise fairly late, I am still trying to hack through potential lists. Mostly they all suck . I may yet revert to the heavily-penalised Byz..

The Kontaratoi can be entirely Regular (as of the website errata).

Early no better than Reg D, Middle and Late any can be Reg C.
