Gang,

Dogs of war will be upon us shorly and I am trying to figure out Lists that have a Sacred Standard to help the D's move forward into battle. Not all armies can do the D's...but still a good list to have!

Nike Byz has a sacred standard.
I just looking though the list. I think you could get enough "D"'s .

Papal Italian. Also has many D class troops that would benefit from said sacred standard.

Kmer - lots of D's that will never see enemy combat- not sure about S standard

All these do have S standards and are some of the better such lists for Dogs.

Don't forget Aztec, however...a little Priests element with the Sacredness oozing out, whipping up the D class guys into a frenzy...as much as Reg D guys CAN. Several other lists in NWW can get such a standard, but I'm not sure on their Dogs-ness (Inca can do it).

Also, consider the following (not an exhaustive list):
Early Dynastic Sumerian
Akkadian/Later Sumerian (its the 4h HCh with detachments and LTS crew that make these interesting)

Late Imperial Roman - D class multi-weapon legionaries and a Sacred Standard

Hunnic

Italian Condotta (not sure there are enough viable Ds, though, check)

Several lists in African Warrior get one, Kanem Bornu may also be able to be Dogs and is a solid list.
