Is the **1 for the Ancient British sacred S standard an error?
Was **0-1 intended instead?
The term 'Extra to upgrade....' and the fact that the Religious Group is described without the sacred S standard and costed separately would indicate you can have the Religious Group without the sacred S standard.
But the sacred S standard's **1, instead of **0-1 seems to indicate you cannot have the group without the standard.
However in that case, surely, the Army List would simply have given one line with **1 for the Religious group INCLUDING the sacred S standard @ 88 pts.
What I think this List means to communicate is:
'You must have the Religious Group to have the Sacred Standard, but you can have the Religious Group on its own.'
It would be helpful to the British to have the Religious Group alone because it costs no command points (list rule) BUT adds an extra unit to a command, making it more resilient to demoralization.
The outcome is nice therefore: Druids who turn up boost morale, even if they don't bring all their bells and whistles! |

As written if you take the Religious Group, you must take the Sacred Standard.
Whether it remains this way moving forward I do not know, but will forward your concern to our historians and list writers. |

And thank you again for your questions. Always happy to answer them...or get them answered.
Hopefully this pesky plague ends before too long and we can get back to tabletop gaming.
However, many of us do play Warrior online using Roll20.net...let me know if you would like to take a look. |
