Players must check in 30 minutes prior to listed start time.
GM: Scott McDonald
Friday:
Warrior 25mm Mini Open
Noon-9:30pm
1200pt army, 3 hour rounds, 6x4 tables
Round 1: Noon, Round 2: 3:30pm, Round 3: 7pm
Saturday:
Warrior 25mm Open
9am-11pm
1600pt army, 4 hour rounds, 8x5 tables
25mm
Round 1: 9am, Round 2: 1:30pm, Round 3: 7pm
One list. Generals must be rolled. Fair and open (no weather rolls).
All games will end abruptly on schedule with the exception that the current phase will be finished (e.g., if the game is in the charge phase, then it will be finished; the game ends without playing the H-T-H combat phase).
Special Rules:
-JLS armed cav fight rank and a half when charging, counter charging and pursuing.
-Choose terrain as described in 14.3 with the exception that no unfortified built over areas such as villages may be rolled for. Players should bring own terrain, string, tetc should they desire to accomodate their own sizing preferences. We will have NASAMW terrain.
-Barbarian Foot Rules in effect.
-X-Rules 2.512, 2.52/53, 5.11, 6.2, 11.1 and 17.1 in use.
-Biblical and Dark Age Warrior lists must come from the new lists.
-New World Beta lists allowed:
http://www.fourhorsemenenterprises.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17275
-African Warrior lists allowed:
http://www.fourhorsemenenterprises.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17284
-Roman Civil Wars Theme lists allowed:
http://www.fourhorsemenenterprises.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17498
-Armies with Army Standard and an option for a Sacred Standard may upgrade to the latter for free.
-All shooting target factors are reduced by 1. For example, Bow shooting at HI/LHI is now a 0, not a 1. This only effects factors, not shieldless effects or shieldless while disordered effects, those remain the same.
-General character of 5 can be Bold or reroll on Special General’s table (CinC can choose to roll regardless): 1 Bleeder. General has a physical defect that makes him more prone to a catastrophe. In Hand to Hand, if the Bleeder's unit takes 2 CPF or more, and makes a unmodified melee roll of -2, -3, or -4, forces a catastrophe. In preparatory shooting, if the Bleeder's unit is takes 2 CPF and the missile fire die roll is +2 or higher, forces a catastrophe. 2 Inattentive. General is sick or wounded. General gets only 10 prompt points a turn. 3 Efficient General gets 20 prompt points. 4 Brave, General’s unit always adds an additional +1 in melee (So a down 3 roll for a Regular B General is even). 5 Inspirational. Unit with general is never uneasy. If the General is the CIC then all units within 120 paces are never uneasy. 6 Great. General is Efficient, Brave, and Inspirational.
All morale grades for troops MUST BE DEFINED DURING DEPLOYMENT.
Deployment Rules:
http://www.fourhorsemenenterprises.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17378
and use the section DIFFERENT METHOD FOR PLACING COMMANDS. Basically, do it like we did at Hcon.
8’ x 5’ tables for 25mm Theme/Open. 2.5 hr rounds for Mini, 3.5 hr rounds for rest.
If you need a loaner, post here and see what Bill Low can bring. _________________ These Rules Suck, Let's Paint! |

I am registered for Fall In, and have my hotel reservation (staying at the Tru). Dave Stier will also be attending. Looking forward to it all! |

I see free Sacred Standard for Armies who can get one...and I see the use of X-Rule 5.11 that such standard eagerness goes out to 720p.
However, you should also add X-Rule 5.52, also extending the waver-if-lost distance for Sacred Standard from 480p to visible limit range 720p.
We intended X-Rule 5.11 and 5.52 to be in force at the same time. |

Mark it was posted - I thought the last time we ran it the feedback was 100% negative - I was in the after battle thing - my guess is those attending can just vote it out - its a NASAMW event and if people don't like it why play it- personally I will have no shooters so really don't care other than it messes up game balance and this is not the first time we have tried it |

I won't change my army choice one way or the other, but I'd certainly vote against using the -1 for shooting. Dave Stier and I had a conversation about it, and I know he would also vote against it.
Since the GM is Scott MacDonald, we should probably lobby him to rescind this. |

Scott McDonald informed me that to his knowledge shooting would be normal - so that is what we will go with barring any published notices from Scott on this page. Thanks |

Then the question remains if JLS cav fight 1.5 ranks as noted...the dangers of copy/paste? |

Thew 1.5 rank was always planned - at least that was the agreement at Historicon, the other was a surprise - so yes jls mounted fights 1.5 ranks if charging, countercharing or pursuing |
