I wonder if any of these old lists are ever going to be reprinted. If not
could someone maybe approach the copyright owners for permission to put the
whole thing on the website.
I see no harm in this.

There is a new group of Warrior players in North Carolina who have bought the
rules but most of their available lead is in the classical period. No problem
except they don't have any lists. They have downloaded the NASAMW Revisions to
old WRG Book 1 but obviously need old Book 1 to make things work. Ideally, they
would like to have a copy of the Book of Hosts and the H&C "Book 3" lists.
I will make a copy of Old Book 1 and mail it to them. But could somebody do the
same for the other two? I don't actually own the H&C Book 3 either and haven't
seen one for sale for several years. The same definitely applies for the Book
of Hosts stuff. Since these items are long out of print and hard to find, I
have no qualms about copying them.
I've CC'd their POC on this. Contact him for details. His snail mail info is

I was going to say, isn't reproducing these and mailing them to others a
copyright violation?

Correct. I'm not endorsing anyone photocopying something they do not hold cop
yright for.
The reason *I* am going to somehow make an old Book I available is because FHE
owns the three "old" WRG books (when we purchased rights to TOG, that also in
cluded those three army list books).
We will most likely charge a nominal fee for the old books but haven't decided
if we simply photocopy them or do something a tad bit nicer.

Scott,
I saw a copy of the Hutchby and Clark lists at Borderland Game and Hobby a
few months back if anyone is interested. . . .

3 books with army lists published by a guy named Colin Froud in Britain. Thes
e were early 90s publications. They go chronological from 3000 BC up to 471 A
D (or thereabouts). Like the old books, they cover all geographic locations i
n the above mentioned time frame. Long out of print, you still might find cop
ies if you look.

Kelly,
Did they have the book 1 H&C lists at Borderland? If so could you give me a
contact number or town so I can call 411.
Thanks,
Chris

I have book 1 dated August 1981
book 2 dated January 1982
book 3 sated November 1982
I also have an army lists Vol 1 that Hutchby & Clark put out in 1992
and Vol 2 they put out in 1993.
I can make these available to you Scott with the proviso that they be
returned when you are done with them. I don't throw anything away. Or I can
see about scanning them to an electronic format and getting them to you that
away if time is not to much a factor, will take a few days.
Side question? - is there a Holy warrior book list available? Eaglewars's
page hasn't been updated in a while.

I believe you can still get those lists from a company called "On Military
Matters" They are always at Historicon and this business is where I purchased my
set of Book of Hosts lists.

Sure Chris,
the number is 913-384-2519 I think. It has been a while since I called out there
but I think that is the number. If you like I can make a run out there and check
it out. Borderland Game and Hobby carries lots of older games as they barter
with gamers older stuff.

Are you saying this booklet will contain *actual* army lists (incl stats,
numbers, etc)? So I wont need a copy of say WRG lists book 3 to get the
details on a list from that book, just the booklet your talking about
publishing?
