Let's talk 15mm Mini on Thursday.
I have two people interested. If the NICT has even numbers, I'd happily be a 3rd. Anything any of you could do to drum up interest would be appreciated.
Like last year, I'll also be a fill in for the NICT using, like last year, Early Byzantines. Unlike last year, I'll remember my Skuts can go into testudo.
Now let's talk the Theme.
If you want to play and don't have an army, post something here. Rich Novak has indicated to me he has some loaners. Bill most assuredly does. I had one (Marian) but it's now reserved.
I'll be in Fredericksburg Wed afternoon and am always ready for a warm up game, preferably in the Theme, that evening.

If I don't get an invite, I will be happy to play in the 15mm mini open.

There's no such thing as an "invite" any more. At some point over the next couple of weeks, I'll email a bunch of people and start gauging who wants to participate.
If you want to participate, it's now been duly noted. _________________ These Rules Suck, Let's Paint! |

Thanks, Scott. It's been four years since I was last able to attend. Since it says "By Invitation Only" in the description I figured I'd let you know I was coming and would play in the Mini if I wasn't in the NICT.

Bill Chamis will be coming down Friday evening and available to play on Saturday. He has a 15mm army, but will happily play a loaner in 25mm. So basically, Scott, slot him in wherever it makes your life easiest. Let me know if he needs to pack figures, and I'll communicate that to him. |

Mark:
Tell Bill to pack figures just in case. For all I know, this could be like last year where I played the Thu rounds of the NICT, then somebody else played the Saturday rounds. Or we have enough people for a cut and run two tourneys on Saturday.
But having him there with 15mm lead in hand just helps the fliexibility.

Will do, Scott. More flexibility is always a good thing. |

Duly noted. I'll have to blow a lot of dust off, but I'll bring them! Note that I'll be coming in on Saturday morning... but I can be there as early as needed, as I'm coming from MD.
Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Be there around 8:30am. The thing is, I can promise you anything as I'm guessing this will be Rounds 3-5 of the NICT. Now, if we have an odd number, meaning that I played on Thursday, then you're in for three rounds.
This assumes I don't get 16 players for the NICT in which case there's always a cut of 4. We'd then play an Open on Saturday. Again, if that happens and you're there, I'd play to round out the field.

I'm fully expecting to get cut on Thursday and play in the Open on Saturday (assuming there is a Thursday cut). Partly this is a lack of practice; my last Warrior game was Historicon last year.
This past weekend I actually laid the figures for my army out on the table in the garage, experimenting with possible setups, and concluded, "Huh. In my head this looked much more elegant. On the table, not so much."
Anyway, it will be great to see everyone and get in some games. Just about the time Sunday morning rolls around I'm sure the rust will have shaken off and I'll be ready to play.... |

See my latest post in the NICT thread. We currently have 17 players in the NICT meaning there will be a cut. The result of that means we'll then have a separate event from the NICT on Saturday!
Those participating in that event, we can decide Thu or Fri whether or not to make it 1200 or 1600 pts. For that matter, we can decide on scale but I'd plan on it being 25mm. Regardless, I'll have 15mm lead (Spanish) with me as well as my 25mm Theme and NICT lead.
